Today is a new day!

First of all, I'm blogging! Something very new for me. So be patient with me as I learn how to use Blogger. I know I'm not very good at keeping in touch with people. I don't like the phone much, and I don't really get out much. So I thought that the best way to keep in touch with all of you was to start a blog. That way you can check up on our family whenever you want (as long as I've posted something new) and you can stay in our lives and keep up to date with everything. This will include things going on with the kids, my getting ready for the NCLEX, and if Chuck will ever get to feeling better :( I'll let you all know how Evan is doing with Speech Therapy and if he has gained any weight yet (I think he is up a lb since his birthday-about 24 now-woo hoo!) I'll let you know how excited Avery is getting to start Kindergarten in August, and all the wonderful things I'm doing to keep her busy, since she gets bored so easily!!! I will let you all know when I'm able to finally register for a date to take the NCLEX, and the results of all that, as well as job hunting and finding!!! On that subject, I had an "interview" with the Nursing Supervisor of the Emergency Department at Emory Eastside in Snellville. She is supposed to let me know by tomorrow if she can take me on, which she wants to, but it is up to her boss whether she can take a new grad on or not. So, fingers crossed everybody, I may not have to do any more hunting!!! The last thing I'd like to say tonight is, no, Chuck is still not feeling any better. Tired all the time, completely worn out, with no energy at all. Plus his side still hurts every now and then. He has had so many tests done that I just don't know what else it could be. We are hoping we either find something soon, so he can get to fixing it, or that this terrible thing just goes away! Welcome, all of you to my life, and just so you know, I named my blog Married...with Children, because sometimes I feel like my life belongs on that show!

Hey! That is so cool that you're doing this. I always enjoy reading Jason's blogs that he does on his travels.

I'm so sorry that Chuck is still feeling bad! I didn't realize he still was dealing with all that. I guess the appendix thing was not really related?

I sent something in the mail to the kids - they should receive them tomorrow.

Hope you can keep up blogging - it's great to hear what's going on. With everyone's busy schedule it is really a treat to be able to communicate at ALL HOURS.

Yay! I'm so glad you started blogging. Your mom is right-now we can communicate whenever we have a free moment (which is different for everyone-especially when kids are involved). Speaking of kids-put some pictures of Avery and Evan in your next post and maybe one of you at your graduation too!

Also, it took Lara a long time to recover from her appendectomy as well. She had residual pain for months and months after the surgery. I hope that is all it is with Chuck too...
