OKAY, OKAY!!!

I have had numerous requests that I update my blog with something new. I have been really busy with work and keeping up with housework and actually spending time with Chuck and the kids. Work is going good. I'm having a lot of fun (yes, that does sound wierd-especially working around sick people all day), but seriously I am enjoying myself, and learning a lot. I am still with a preceptor-I will be until mid to end November. Don't get me wrong about the enjoying myself part, though, they are long, hard days, and I don't really get to see Chuck or the kids on those days since I am up at 5:15, out the door by 6:00, working from 6:45 am until about 7:15-7:30 pm and usually home at 8-8:15. Then I have just enough energy to shower, eat and kiss everyone goodnight!! I really dislike the fact that the day is spent entirely on work, but I do like the the fact that there are only 3 of them in a week-not 5!! Except, technically for the past 3 weeks (and the next 6 from now) I have had an extra day in the classroom for about 6 hours being taught critical care stuff. So, this is why my blog has gone un touched for so long!!

I started this post almost a month ago....yet again, busy and tired. I will go ahead and post this and then some pics, but I will update on work. This saturday is my last day on days. Starting next week I am going to nights-7pm to 7am. I will work one more month with a preceptor, then December 7 is my "release date". Then I will be working 6 pm to 4 am 4 nights a week!! I'm a little excited about this, as well as apprehensive, because now 4 of my 7 days are going to be flipped instead of just 3, but we will make it work. Another update...Evan is doing so well with his talking. Every day there are more words, as well as whole sentences. He is out of therapy for now because we had a change in insurance, but he is doing great anyway. I really think he is catching up fast to where he should be. Hopefully soon I can post a video. Anyway, I'll end this and then post another with just pics!!
