Sand and Water Table

On Saturday, May 31st, the kids played outside for a long time with the sand and water table, so I thought I'd show some cute pics I got of them. It has taken me several days to post because our AC has been out and the computer is in the hottest room of the house, so if I get online it is only for a few minutes. P.S. It is still not working correctly after having repair guys out here yesterday and it is almost 90 degrees in the house :(

Monday evening to escape from the heat, I took the kids to the pool. Well, it was a really short stay since Evan decided that he hates the pool and wouldn't let go of my neck, or even let me get in. I hope he outgrows that or it is going to be a long summer. After the pool we went to Mickey-D's to eat and I let them play on the playground for a while, just to be in an air-conditioned building. Even though it was then bedtime, we proceeded to the Wal-Mart to walk around for a while, just for fun, and again to be in an air-conditioned building.

Yesterday, I had a second interview at Emory Eastside Hospital, this time with the hospital's nurse recruiter. He seemed like he was really impressed with me, until I made the mistake of telling him that my weakness is tardiness. That is his pet peeve!!! He told me that had he asked me that question first, then the interview would have been really short, but luckily it was towards the end! But I guess my tardiness didn't matter, because he called me this morning and offered me a job in the Emergency Department!!! I will start training on July 14, as long as I pass the NCLEX, which I will...we cannot afford to pay to have me take it again ($200-yikes)!

I'll have to post more another day when I'm not burning up..hopefully tomorrow we will get some resolution with the AC!!! Wish us luck!
