The stress of waiting on the Board of Nursing

So, I will post another time about Father's day, etc-some stuff I wanted to share, but today I got really impatient with not having heard from the Board of Nursing yet with approval to take the NCLEX. A few classmates posted online that they just got their's this morning and were signing up, so I was checking my e-mail like every 10 minutes, sometimes quicker, and finally after the 20th check, there it was!!! My ATT ( Authorization to Test), so I went straight to the website to sign up, because I am supposed to start working on July 14th!!!!! I looked at the 20 centers closeset to my house, mind you that does not mean they are close-Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Georgia!!! The earliest time I could find before Mid-July (after I'm supposed to start working) was this Tuesday!! Even though it is only 4 days away, I could not wait until July. So, I am making a road trip to Birmingham, Alabama this Tuesday to take the boards. 48 hours later I will know whether or not I wasted $200 (passed or not), and whether or not I will be starting work on time!!!! Well, it is not even an option to not pass, so wish me luck, pray for me, I need all of your well wishes!! Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. I will change my life forever!!!
